The university has made the decision to move its domain space from “orst.edu” to “oregonstate.edu” and changing email addresses is a part of this migration. A: In January of 2002, we added a second inbound address, ending in @oregonstate.edu, to every Exchange user who had an @orst.edu address. We did not change the outbound address at that time – we simply enabled a second inbound address. • Do I have two e-mail addresses now? How does that work? A: Yes, you currently have two valid inbound e-mail addresses. Your outbound address (the address that people see when you send to them) can be set to either @orst.edu or @oregonstate.edu right now. On January 1, 2004, it will be set to @oregonstate.edu, but your @orst.edu address will continue to work. • What is my new address?
