Why did ee cummings and T.S. Eliot use initials on their first names?
i dont know the reason but i know if i ever write for more than my own private use it will be my first inital last name, my name has 3 syllables & my last has 2 so thats 5 whole syllables for someone to remember if i use an abbreviation is only 3 seems easier to remember (think stephen king its only 3 everyone knows hims) so thats my reasoning & i do know that sometimes women went by initials or men’s names to get their work published & yes i know ee & ts are both men but i wanted to throw that out as a possibility for other authors
