Why did Dr. Ducat become a chiropractor?
At age 5, she saw the benefits of chiropractic care first-hand. Her 18-month old brother suddenly stopped walking and crawling. After several visits to pediatricians, one of the doctors suggested a chiropractor. Skeptical at first, Dr. Ducat’s mother knew that since pain medications did not help her son, she had to try something else. The chiropractor gently adjusted the young boy’s pelvis and hips, which stopped the pain, making it possible for him to walk again. Since then, Dr. Ducat’s whole family understands how and believes that people can be helped through chiropractic care. Dr. Ducat is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a B.S. in Human Biology. She also attended Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL where she received a B.A. in Biology.
