Diane Sawyer announced on air Dec. 7 that this is her final week as co-anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America. A press release from the network said she will replace the retiring Charles Gibson as anchor on ABC’s World News in January 2010. It was mentioned in the last show that the rest of the week GMA will share some clips about Diane Sawyer’s 20 years service to ABC network. Diane Sawyer has remained associated with GMA for more than a decade. She first appeared on the show when ABC decided to give the hosting responsibilities temporarily to Diane Sawyer.
Singer Rihanna spoke with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America Thursday morning and talked about going back to Chris Brown after he assaulted her. See video of Rihanna’s interview below.
