Why did Cordelia leave Buffy?
Although Cordelia’s departure from Sunnydale hasn’t been discussed all that much, she basically leaves because she is poor and she wants to pursue acting as her way of becoming rich and famous. This little plan doesn’t work out, however, and she is forced to help Angel out partly because she can’t seem to avoid the supernatural and partly because she has very little money to live off of.
