Why did Commie Canadians burn down the White House on August 24, 1814?
Well, actually the 1814 burning of the White House was a response to an attempt to annex Canada (British North America at the time). The would-be liberators were chased away from Canada, pursued in Washington and the British commanders decided they had to set an example. The two countries have been at peace since.

It was England against you back in 1814, Canada , on the other hand fought in every War with you since 1867 when we became an Independent Nation, and are currently in Afghanistan along side of you. And also, for the record, a Canadian Hospital ship beat FEMA to New Orleans after Katrina and hundreds of Canadians helped at Ground Zero as well. My family also took food and toiletries to stranded Americans who couldn’t get home after 9-11 so I’ll let the “commie”” remark slide because I know you don’t speak for most Americans who KNOW who their friends are.
