Why did CLU implement a mandatory student health insurance program?

0

A growing number of students were unable to obtain health insurance through their parents. In addition, many others who were out of their HMO service area were unable to use their insurance in the Thousand Oaks area. CLU was unable to maintain an affordable voluntary student health insurance policy. By enrolling all full-time undergraduate students in an injury and sickness plan, we are able to provide coverage for all students at a low cost per student.
