Why did Christian Care Communities sell its Pathways and Children’s Services programs?
While we treasured the impact we were able to make with these programs, we felt it was time to focus our energy and resources solely on serving Older Adults. With the coming boom in the senior population, we believe our nation is headed toward a potential crisis caused by housing and care shortages for Older Adults. We feel it is our duty to offer very much needed options for seniors that will allow them to stay as independent as possible, while allowing them to age and place and be well taken care of when their needs grow. The compassionate, spirit-filled care we can offer Older Adults and their families is needed now more than ever. As for the Pathways and Children’s Services Programs, we have placed them in only the most capable of hands. The entities that acquired these programs will be able to bring fresh ideas, expertise and resources to these programs.
