Why did Charles Manson kill all those people?
There were a number of reasons. One, he wanted to start a race war. Then he wanted to get back at rich and successful people because he never was a success in his own life. He also wanted revenge against a society he felt had rejected him. The victims were random but the locations weren’t. He had visited the house at the first location a few months before the murders because he was looking for a former tenant who had recently moved out. He had interrupted a party and was rather rudely told to leave. Then with the second location, it is known that he and some of his followers had been to that house before those murders took place. The owners noticed that items in the house were missing or had been moved around and that their dogs were outside when they should have been in the house. As for never having killed anyone, it’s hard to say for sure.
