Why did Breyers Ice Cream put Cousin Vicki from Vacation into Gone with the Wind?
Jane Krakowski takes a bite out of “Gone With the Wind” by Karman Kregloe I’ve always liked Jane Krakowski, ever since I saw her in Vacation (1983), in which she played the cute but backwards Cousin Vicki, who stirred a pitcher of Kool Aid with her arm. Yes, her arm. Of course, she nearly stole the show in Ally McBeal as busybody Elaine Vassal, but my favorite of all of her roles is easily Jenna Maroney, the narcissistic actress in 30 Rock. A lot of people love Krakowski in that role, and that’s probably why Breyers has her shilling for their Smooth & Dreamy ice cream, but in an interesting, inventive and interactive sort of way. Via their official website, Breyers is digitally dropping Krakowski into memorable scenes from classic films, and allowing her to converse with the likes of Clark Gable and, next, King Kong.
