Why did Big Idea take out Sonny Bonos picture from “Love My Lips?”

0

The original version of “Love My Lips!,” the Silly Song on Dave and the Giant Pickle, contained a smiling photograph of Sonny Bono, entertainer and United States Congressman from the state of California. Bono died in a skiing accident in 1998, and his photo was removed out of respect. The new version – on videotapes produced after Bono’s death – contains a photo of Robert Ellis, one of Big Idea’s original animators.
