Why did Beethoven write loud music?

He didn’t really write lound music. His music isn’t really any louder or quieter than other composers of his day. His deafness didn’t really affect his compositional abilities because he could hear the music that he was writing in his head. His deafness affected his playing ability though. There was a concert that premeired his Symphony No. 5 and 6 as well as some keyboard piece (sorry-don’t remember which) At the concert it is believed that beethoven played the keyboard piece himself, and to help him hear to music he had a device that he put in his mouth that was mounted to the soundboard of the keyboard instrument.
