Why did ASCP create MTM Provider Partners?
ASCP members have been asking for a pathway to deliver clinical services in the community without having to find new patients and setup business support services (i.e. billing). To respond to this need, the Society created ASCP’s MTM Provider Partners to offer opportunities for members to provide community-based medication therapy management (MTM) consulting services. This new member service will expand the reach of ASCP member consultant and senior care pharmacists into community-based settings, bringing much needed clinical expertise to medically complex patients wherever they reside. This activity also supports our strategic plan initiative of providing consultant and senior care pharmacy services to seniors wherever they reside.
