Why did AP&T decide to meter its DSL service and establish data transfer limits?
Data transfer between your modem and the Internet is very expensive in rural areas and the demands on our network are increasing. Metered DSL service allows for a balanced network and ensures quality service to all of our valued customers. Data transfer limits are based on timely and diligent research and we have found that the limits are more than adequate for the majority of our customers.
