Why did America got to War with Iraq?
The US went to war with Iraq to remove them from Kuwait. The current episode is not only a continuation of that due to a lack of compliance on Saddam’s part, but also because he started getting haughty and claiming he has and would use WMD. The true “Iraq” war ended a long time ago. Right now the battles are with Islamic Fascists that have made Iraq their battlefield. In addition they have prompted violence between the different sects within Iraq in order to destabilize the government. To all the idiots who think we went to war for oil, answer this question: Why didn’t we just take it, instead of paying market rates for it?
