Why did access originally break up?
A. Sorry, only Daisuke and Hiro know for sure. But Daisuke was on the verge of tears when he announced it to a giant crowd of fans, who mostly burst out crying after he said it. The rumors, mind you, rumors only, are that they had arguments fairly often, and Daisuke slapped Hiro – in front of a crowd (this info was apparently in the news – but that could have been tabloid news). Other ideas include Daisuke being offered lots of money to do other projects, Hiro wanting to go solo, and Daisuke wanting to start a different sort of band (Iceman was born shortly after Access’s breakup).
