During an early November overflowing Town Council meeting, scores of these citizens said they felt Wickenburg more accurately reflected their rural lifestyle than Surprise. They felt annexation into the Town of Wickenburg was a way to control growth in a way that helps maintain the western and rural lifestyle so important to them and the area.
