The devices for the laptop are specifically designed and are costly because they are different in design and demand. The demand of the notebook products is much less than a desktop computer. Secondly the specific device works with only the specific brand. For example Sony brand VAIO will have it’s DVD Super Drive according to her model. Similarly, the hard disk, RAM, motherboard like stuff is also expensive because of the same reason.
