Your SecureCode is so secure that you are the only person who knows what it is. Canadian Tire Bank only has an encrypted (that is, scrambled) version of your SecureCode, not the SecureCode itself. The stored encrypted version is matched against the encrypted message sent by your browser to confirm your identity during a transaction. There is no way for a rep to “unscramble” your SecureCode, so you must reset it personally.
