Why couldn’t the County or other agency take over the operation of the Millbrae sanitation service?
• City would compete with other jurisdictions for funding of infrastructure improvements. • City would lose direct control over its facilities and the rates Millbrae citizens pay for sanitation services. • Equity for fees charged among Cities/Agencies is difficult to achieve because each City/Agency within the County has invested in their collection system and treatment facility at different levels.
