Why consider two new elementary schools?
There are currently 26 portable buildings providing 51 classrooms to over 1,000 Sherman ISD students. Twenty of these portable buildings are at the elementary schools, with grades K-3 experiencing the largest enrollment in the District. The proposed new elementary schools would relieve the overcrowding and address the growing needs in multiple areas of the community.
