Why complete my Divemaster with Deep Blue Adventure?
Becoming a Divemaster is your first step as a PADI professional and forms the basis of your Assistant Instructor and Instructor ratings (if you choose to continue your education). As an instructional assistant, a Divemaster is expected to have demonstration-quality skills, a thorough knowledge of dive theory, excellent organizational and logistical abilities, and in general, be a role model to student divers. At Deep Blue we recognize the importance of your Divemaster training, and we believe in investing the time to make sure that you receive a solid education in these areas. Our Divemaster program consists of six to eight classroom sessions plus one-on-one study where you will gain the knowledge you need working directly with one of our instructors. After you have mastered the textbook you will put these skills to pratical use in an internship program where you will work with student divers under the direct supervision of an instructor, both in confined and open water.
