Why choose the Basic Driver Improvement course?
If you just received a traffic ticket for a moving violation or were ordered to take a TCAC class, you can keep points off your driving record and prevent an increase in your auto insurance premium by attending the Basic Driver Improvement course, a four-hour class. Effective July 2005, holders of a Commercial Drivers License are no longer eligible to complete a Basic Driver Improvement course to keep points from being assessed for a traffic offense per Florida Statute 318.14.
