Why choose sampling inspection method?
Comparing to 100% inspection method, sampling inspection has the following advantages: • Because only part of batch are inspected, the cost is relative lower; • Damages caused by moving and carton opening can be reduced; • Only a small amount of auditor are required, relative cost is lower; • As the number of products to be inspected is smaller, the inspectors can have enough time and energy to make careful tests; • 100% inspection is limited with time, man power and equipment. It’s not easy to make very careful check with all the products if the batch is huge. Sampling inspection method can be very reliable with many years theory developing. It can even get better result in many cases; • Acceptance or reject of the whole batch, can be a good encourage to the manufacturer; But there are also some disadvantages with sampling inspection.
