A. Unlike grease or oil, LCF does not migrate to the top of the rail, which can potentially cause wheel slip and/or braking problems. LCF is more environmentally friendly than grease or oil. Also, LCF does not attract dirt and contamination because LCF either comes in solid stick form or rapidly dries to a solid film when applied in liquid form.
