Why choose feather or down pillows and comforters?
Feathers and especially down have highly insulating properties and are extremely comfortable and pleasant to the touch, considerably increasing your sleeping comfort. Down warms the body more efficiently than synthetic polyester fibers, and is certainly more durable. When complemented by 100% cotton fabric, down permits the bedding to truly “breathe,” easily absorbing and shedding moisture for the ideal insulating effect. Some people claim that feathers cause allergic reactions. Is this true? An allergic reaction depends on two factors: 1) The initial sterilization process: feathers and down are cleaned and sterilized to remove the dirt, dust, dander and invisible skin residues that adhere to them.
