Why Choose an Oak Dining Table?
My friend Michelle found oak dining tables boring. At least that’s what she said when she felt it was time to buy a new one. Until then, she and her family had used the table belonging to her grandmother. Yes, it had nicks and dings here and there, but I certainly wouldn’t call it boring. In fact, I thought it had as much character as any table I’d ever seen. Michelle’s husband, Rob, loved the table. It had been the centerpiece in their home since they’d been married. It had stood the torment of two rowdy little boys and their friends. Its unique patterns and warmth just made you feel welcome when you walked in the room.
