Why choose a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)?
The goal of a CCRC is to allow residents to “age in place”. If illness or injury occurs, the necessary health care services required will be available ideally within the community and the person will not have to move elsewhere to obtain the care they need. The facility provides a “continuum of care” that people need as they age through one service provider or campus. Choosing a CCRC gives opportunity for an individual or couple to plan their living arrangement carefully and early so they can direct their own future.
