Why cherries in hamburger?
The history of Plevalean really began when Ray and Marge Plevas daughter Cindy was chosen as the National Cherry Queen. She asked her dad, who had grown up on the Pleva family cherry farm, to come up with a product at his butcher shop that could help promote the slumping cherry industry. Rays first creation was Cherry Pecan sausage. Next came Plevalean and the rest is history.
