Why charge hourly for dirt excavation on concrete jobs?
Arizona soils vary widely in difficulty to dig. Some soft soils are full of roots, sometimes there are many underground pipes, sometimes we find old concrete buried under the dirt. Consequently it is impossible to estimate excavation. We take care to not damage these, but even if they are blue staked it may not be possible to avoid damage to underground utilities.
