Why celebrate Congo’s Golden jubilee?
A. A golden jubilee is a celebration held to mark 50th anniversary for events of significant importance. It goes back to biblical times and has been used by families, leaders and countries a like in order to reflect, restore, remit debts and reconcile old feuds. Despite the continue tussle we face daily as a nation, its’ worth reflecting on does who fought endlessly in the struggle for independence. We have reached yet another significant moment as a country, this an opportunity to awaken that spirit of intent and “Progressive Thinking” like our brothers and sisters had done fifty years ago. This is also a good medium in order to position and project to the world what is positive about our country.
