Why Caucasian people want to make everything black and white?
If it is “Caucasian” people who make things “black and white”, can you please explain to me why you have made a distinct difference (one might say, a “black and white” distinction) between Caucasian people and others? To answer your question, racism is commonplace throughout history and throughout the contemporary social world. Racism exists (and has existed) in almost all societies and is usually exercised by the majority groups towards the minorities. In your case, the majority of Canada is ‘Caucasian’ and you are an African minority. It is extremely unfortunate, but it is also extremely human. Human cognition uses schemas to function, and stereotypes are a part of this schematic method. Education is the key to overcoming racism and other forms of ignorance.
