Why Captain Nautica Mini Boats?
Our tour is the only snorkeling expedition on St. Thomas that lets you drive your own boat. Get behind the wheel of a custom 14 ft Avon inflatable and captain your own adventure. Our boats are powered by brand new Yamaha 40 horse HP 4-stroke helm controlled engines for reliability and speed. Our boats seat up to four passengers each so the whole family can ride together. Are there any age or weight requirements? The minimum age for our tour is 5 years old. Parents of young children should be aware that the ride may be exciting and bumpy depending upon the weather. There is a weight limit of 250 lbs. on the tour, due to the need to re-enter the boat using a small, vertical swim ladder. There is also a total weight limit of 600 lbs. total per boat. How long does it take? The tour is a half-day snorkeling excursion, which normally lasts about 2 ½ to 3 hours. Not to long and not to short. The perfect vacation excursion!!
