Why can you buy the beatles in mp3/4 form?
sorry Katherine but Paul bought back the catalogue from Jackson quite a while ago because he wanted control back so it’s not that – it’s because Yoko Ono was interviewed recently and she (and I believe Paul Mac agrees) that they don’t trust downloads quite yet and want to keep the Beatles catalogue on traditional media….they both control the rights via Apple records i believe…so it won’t be on amazon download for a long time yet…i’m sure they will one day… i agree it’s frustrating but that’s how they want it….the only time it’s been on electronic is the recent box set of albums that came with an Apple shaped USB stick – very quirky but ouch expensive…if didn’t have all songs already was very tempted don’t despair – it’s fab you are getting into the beatles- you have great taste – if desparate for on mp3 try your local library – should be able to hire each CD for a week for about a £1, they usually have most of the back catalogue in stock and download to your itunes or media
