Why can Yahoo Mail automatically delete all future-dated spam?

I agree with you. If the message is in an invalid format, they should not even send it to the bulk folder. Here are the types of messages I think they should automatically delete: 1. Messages dated more than a day into the future. 2. Messages of 0 bytes in length. 3. Messages that violate accepted RFC standards. 4. Messages where the domain in the from field does not match the domain in the IP address. 5. Messages where the domain key doesn’t match the domain (if the message uses a domain key). There are also messages that I think should never reach even the bulk folder, if desired by the user. I mean, there should be some global rules that users can configure, such as: 1. The ability to block emails from certain countries. Hey, I don’t know anyone in Russia, China, or Africa, nor do I do business in those countries. Yet those places are where I get the majority of my spam.
