Its simple really: our external funding is ring-fenced against Key Performance Indicators linked to Government agendas and priorities. For Sport England funding, this is focussed around Young People and Young Volunteers, Accredited Clubs, School and Community Club link programmes, Talent Identification, Coaching and Facility Development. For UK Sport funding the priority is Olympic and Paralympic medal success, supporting functions of British Cycling to underpin these programmes and the development of the UK Coaching Certificate for Cycling. We are performing exceptionally well against Government Targets, which is enabling us to lobby at the highest level for increased investment in the future for the benefit of the whole of cycle sport. More than 10% of our affiliated clubs are now involved in our Go-Ride programme; our coaching courses are continually oversubscribed; we are seeing unprecedented success at Junior and U23 level on the World Stage whilst still sustaining our exceptional
