Why can we distribute the Star Trek: Generations script here on #startrek?
This is a question a LOT of people ask from us, especially as for a brief while the script was available on Enterbot. Many argue that since the script is making its rounds anyway it wouldn’t make a difference if we distributed it on #startrek, or at least allowed other people to distribute it on the channel. Paramount has, however, contacted us and requested that the script not be distributed on #startrek… And they were willing to back that request with their lawyers. Seeing as the script IS their property, not ours, we chose to not argue with them but instead agreed to not distribute the script on #startrek. If you have that script, that is your own business. If you choose to distribute that to someone else, that is your own business as well – though we would advise against giving it out.
