Why cant they put ejection seats in commercial planes?

If your aircraft is falling apart at 35,000 feet you wouldn’t have time to do anything about it due to cabin depresurization. You would be unconscious due to a lack of oxygen. It’s also impossible to put ejection seats into an aircraft cabin, because there would have to be a device in place that would allow for the roof of the aircraft to open up for EVERY seat … basically, the entire top of the aircraft would have to somehow come off. The cabin storage bins would be in the way as well. It’s not possible, too expensive and the device itself would most likely make air travel even more dangerous due to a possibility of it malfunctioning.
