Why can the teachers mark exam papers?
SO another £45-million down the drain by this pathetic government. The amount paid to an American firm to mark exam papers. Maybe I am missing something – if the teacher can teach the pupils to take these exams, then surely they can mark the papers. When I was at school from 1942-52, the teachers could tell you next morning how you had done, and that was during the Second World War, too. Also, every teacher knew your name, not like today.
