Why cant the snow plow angle the plow or stop and clear the windrow from my driveway?
There are approximately 22,000 driveways on all of our plow routes. It would be almost impossible for the driver to stop and clear each driveway entrance. Safety is also a very important issue. The drivers visibility is extremely limited behind the snow plow. Clearing each driveway entrance would require the driver to back the truck up to perform the task. Children, animals and other vehicles, in a lot of instances, would not be seen by the driver. Their visibility is also less during times when snow is actually falling.
