Why cant the people in bangladesh drive properly?
Hi, I’m from Bangladesh and live in Dhaka. I agree with your views & what ‘Broken Silence’ said here. We have office BRTA that issues driving licence and we all know that how illiterate ppl gets such papers! We have two drivers (chauffeurs) & I have trouble finding real qualified ppl for the job since most of them can hardly read & write. I wonder how they pass the test, though these are oral-exams (viva) and some test on the circuit (empty field) in-front of the BRTA Dhaka office. The drivers sometimes get fake driving-licence made in connivance with the dishonest ppl of BRTA, sometimes they get it from modern computer-composed machines, as we can see on TV when such racketeers are held by law enforcing agencies. We had to retrench about 20 drivers in the past 19 years of our biz due to reckless driving, fake driving licence detected by Police when our drivers would violate traffic signals or parking in wrong places or cause accidents etc. A few drivers fled & left the car after accid
