First check if the Xbus Master is turned on (LED flashes). If the LED is solid the Xbus Master may be in Bluetooth mode. Restore to factory defaults to select serial cable mode. Check if the serial cable is correctly attached to the Xbus Master and the host. Use the twist-lock at the Xbus Master side to attach it properly. Make sure that the RS-232 (COM) port used by the Xbus Master is not used by other software installed on your computer, e.g. ActiveSync.
