Why can the instructor open my documents in the digital dropbox?

Mac users have an additional step in order to successfully use the digital dropbox. The ANGEL dropbox feature looks for the three-letter file extension when it uploads your file to the instructor’s dropbox. Macs don’t automatically add the file extension after the file name, so ANGEL doesn’t recognize your file. When saving your file, be sure to add the appropriate file extension after the file name (for example, Homework.doc, or myessay.rtf). If you are using Works you will need to save your work as type: .doc or .rtf. If you don’t use a Mac or Works and are having trouble with the dropbox, please call the online learning office at 253-589-4534 or e-mail distance@cptc.edu.
