Why can the homeless guy walking down the street:?
I would seriously look into mental illnesses, such as Schizophrenia, which can cause hallucinations as well as delusions of grandeur. It would be an interesting way to keep tabs on us, however, I don’t think that there would be any need for such a thing; they see better at an eagle’s view and I’d guess they could feel what was going on as well. Back in the day of when prophets were popularly popping up (too many p’s! ha!), no one questioned – maybe not as many as today’s world would. They didn’t understand that some people had disorders. Some would claim they were infested by the devil when they’d be crazy mad, or that they were touched by god when they would sit and be in wonder. There is a lot of the mind we don’t yet understand and it will take many years to fully understand the full nature of it. If it is the divine entering our minds, then it’s something to be only for that person. The world will never accept that a homeless man is truly talking to god or jesus.
