Why can terrestrial planets have rings?

0

Maybe some terestrial planets do have rings, How would you know, but if your asking why our planet does not have visible rings, its because our gravity is not strong enough and our planet is not big enough.Though, I’m sure we have all kinds of debris orbiting the earth.

The rings are believed to be debris from broken up moons. There is no reason why terrestrial planets cannot have them but I suspect the smaller mass of the inner planets mean it is less likely that any moon will get stressed enough to break up.
