Because of contract obligations with Raycom Sports, no SEC school can produce its own live telecast after January 1st of a given season. This policy is put in place to ensure exclusivity of Raycom’s product and to protect it’s advertising efforts. However, the SEC may designate select Gator basketball games, played after January 1, to be part of the conference’s SEC-TV live telecast schedule, airing on Sun Sports or FSN Florida.
