Why cant people see a stupid question and ignore it?
You would be surprised to see what people will do just to be better then someone else. For Yahoo Answers they are lowing themselves to stupid questions or providing stupid answers just to rack up the points to have more points or a better rank then someone else. Other people, the ones who ask stupid questions are just trying to get attention or start a fight to seek attention. Its people like the ones i referred to above, that make Yahoo Answers bad for the ones who are trying to do this out of good faith or maybe just out of boredom.
