Why can’t ‘needs’ drivers take the cash option?

As a needs driver, your car is provided as an ‘enabler’ to undertake your role. The cash option is being withdrawn to improve driver safety. Existing ‘needs’ drivers who have already selected the cash option will have this withdrawn on the 31 May 2007.
