Why can my TomTom connect (bond) to my mobile phone?

Please ensure that the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone is ON and the phone visibility for other devices is set to “visible”, “shown to all” or “discoverable”. Most phones have a limited discoverable timeframe so you must complete the pairing procedure within this timeframe. In all cases, your phone must remain discoverable in Bluetooth and allow the TomTom to connect to it. Attempts to connect to the TomTom with the phone will be unsuccessful. For further instructions about these Bluetooth settings please refer to your phone’s user manual.
