Why can more roads solve the congestion problem?
Building new or bigger roads wont ease traffic congestion it just attracts more cars. Road expansion is not a realistic or affordable option to manage future growth. We need to make forward-thinking and creative land use and transportation policies to promote public transit and reurbanization in the central transit corridor. As traffic congestion increases, rapid transit on dedicated lanes will provide more reliable travel times.
